I'm sorry for being behind with requests and other things.  I'll be putting up some of the stuff I promised this week. 

It's just, I started my summer internship at WedMD this week and I've been readusting to a normal person's sleep schedule.  I have to say, though, I'm quite liking the work schedule much better than a school one.  Sure, I'm waking up sure early (and I used make my schedule so no class began before noon) and I need to go to bed early (relatively speaking, of course), but overall, it's so much easier to handle.  With school, you tend to have a shorter day at school, but then you papers and projects that can keep you up to random hours.  And you never really get weekends as your work load almost always fails to stay confined to the weekdays.  But going to work at a regular 9AM to 5PM job, you're finished when you leave the office and have the whole night to do whatever.  And the weekends, while short, are a blissful break during which you can do anything and everything not releated to work.  Oh, I know that sometimes work will bleed into non-work time, but so far, it seems to be a better balence.

On that note, I never want to look at spreadsheets again.

PS. Specifically, I was extremely impressed by the picture-essay on aang_aint_white and urge people to friend them, pass their journal on to other friends, send letters, and to join the Facebook group.  The only way we can hope to change this (or at least draw attention to our unhappiness) is to showcase our numbers.

So, some of my friends and I are getting each other comics for Christmas and I decided I wanted to expand that to here.  Ask for anything, and I mean anything, and I'll try my best to find it for you.  It can be a single issue, an entire series, or a special graphic novel edition.  Just include the publisher, series title, and any other information that would make finding what you'd like easier.  Or, if you'd like a character spotlight type post, I can do that as well, and in that case, give me the character name and any known series they've been in and I'll research the rest.

Just a few quick notes on a couple of answers to some recently asked questions that everyone should know (in no particular order).

1.  Yes, I do take requests for comics not on my comic list.  That list is simply what I have currently uploaded (which I'm trying to update weekly, but that may not happen always).  Chances are if I don't already have a series on the list, I either have it on my computer/external hard drive or can get it for you from a friend.  Either make a request on my comic list post or on any new release post that is related to what you're requesting and I'll be happy to try to get you what you want.  Also, if there are any new releases that I am not putting up that you follow and would like included in future release posts, let me know that as well.  Those kinds of issues are the easiest to find.

2.  If you would like something uploaded to another server, I'm happy to do that.  Simply let me know on the post in question and I'll get a mirror up as soon as I can.  I prefer to use MediaFire for those, but will also upload to Rapidshare and Sendspace.  Whichever works best for you.

3.  As someone suggested, there is now a tag link on the right side on my main journal page.  You should be able to use it to navigate the many posts I've compiled so far.

4.  If you have a friend who I do not know, but who would like to my friend to get to the comics, please tell them to simply reply on my first post (or any public post, really) and say who recommended them or where they heard about my journal.  I'll pretty much friend anyone.

5.  Someone asked me if I minded them reuploading stuff they downloaded to me in other places (specifically Comicunity) and I want to let everyone know I do not have a problem with that at all.  I think its a great idea because the only reason I took my links down was because I needed comments to keep track of my downloads and I wasn't getting that certain places.  Whatever you do with your downloads is up to you, though I encourage you to share them with other comic lovers.  It the only way this whole system will work.  (Yes, this note was on a release post already, but I wanted to make sure everyone knew I wasn't going to get mad or something for them reuploading something).

I heart Hugh Jackman.  I like Wolverine as much as the next Marvel fan, he's just never been my favorite (back then, my love for Gambit knew no bounds).  It wasn't until Hugh played him in the films that I really really enjoyed the character.  Before that, I thought he was interesting, but overrated and that Marvel practically shoved him down our throats.  After, I came to see him in a new light and to ignore the badly written pieces and to focus on how awesome he could be.  Plus, I always hear Hugh Jackman's voice in my head now whenever I read Wolvie speak.
